Accessibility

I'm committed to making my website as clear and easy to use as possible.

  • The site is compatible with desktop and mobile devices.

  • I use a simple menu structure.

  • I use plain English throughout the site.

  • For clear reading throughout the site, my chosen font for body text is Arial point 16.

  • Body text on all pages is left aligned.

  • For the colour palette, I aim to achieve Priority Level AA as a standard.

  • All images have an accompanying text description.

  • The site is compatible with Windows + Firefox or Chrome: NVDA (Free reader), Mac + Safari: Voiceover (built-in reader), Android + Chrome: Talkback (built-in reader), and  iOS + Safari: Voiceover (built-in reader).

  • The site is set to show visual indicators, which are blue rectangles that appear when visitors use a keyboard to navigate around the site.

  • The elements on this site are structured to help visitors using accessibility screen readers to navigate in a logical order.

If there is anything on this site — accessibility or validation related — that is not according to the standard, please contact me.
